ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Our first home basketball game of the 2020 season is this coming Wednesday, January 22nd.  We are excited to welcome students to stay at school to enjoy our cheer team performances, pom team performances, and cheer on our basketball teams as they compete against the Fenton Tigers.  The cost of admission is $3, and the parent pick-up time is 6:30pm.  For students that will be staying to enjoy the game, this is a reminder that our expectation is student spectators remain on-campus between the end of the school day and the 4:15pm start time of our home games.  As well, no outside food or drinks will be allowed in the school.  The basketball booster group will be running a concession stand that will include cold drinks, warm food and snacks. So, stay after school on Wednesday and enjoy time with your friends while you support our pom, cheer and basketball teams.  Go Bobcats!!!

GEOGRAPHY BEE:  Geography Bee sign-ups will be in Mr. Robelli’s class (room 237) Monday, January 13th through the 17th.   More information will be given to those who sign up.

7TH & 8TH GRADE WINTER BASEBALL CAMP:  The Grand Blanc High School Baseball program would like to invite all area 7th – 12th grade players to a Winter Baseball showcase Camp featuring Saginaw Valley state University coaching staff.  The camp will be Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Grand Blanc High School.  There are two sessions at a cost of $50 per session or $90 for both if registered before camp.  Registration forms with more information are available in the EMS Main Office.

  • Because citizenship is an important part of the development of the whole child, each marking period students will earn a citizenship grade on his/her report card.  This rubric outlines the factors that we consider when determining a child’s citizenship grade. The goal is for students to be in the “Meets Expectations” category overall.  Students must earn a 3 or a 4 to be on the honor roll. To be eligible for sports, students must earn a 2, 3, or 4.
