(There is no change for elementary or Bobcat Virtual students at this time.)

Due to secondary students’ lack of in-house lunch service, they are permitted to carefully consume snacks during the day - at passing and in class - if it doesn't cause disruption or create a safety issue (at the teacher's discretion.) It is preferable at this time to have students snacking in a staggered manner throughout the day than to have them seated side by side with masks off at a normal lunch period.

We do ask that they try to snack when they are not close to others and to please replace their mask when not actively eating or drinking. We have asked for grace from staff members to make this work. Please ask students to pay attention to *Nut Free* zones that are clearly marked on classroom doors. Those areas have been designated as such due to serious allergies present in students or staff in the area.

Breakfasts are free and available to all students every morning and students are welcome to save part or all of that food for a little later in the day if that works out best for them. As always, snacks are permitted for those with documented medical issues and they are welcome to discuss their situation with their building office.

Secondary lunches will be distributed for free as a grab-n-go option at the end of the school day.
