ALL STUDENTS TRYING OUT FOR ANY SPORT IN THE 2020-2021 ATHLETIC SEASON ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A TWO PAGE MHSAA PHYSICAL FORM ON FILE IN THE MAIN OFFICE.
STUDENTS WITH A 2019-2020 PHYSICAL FORM: Due to concerns regarding access to primary care providers during the late spring and early summer, an extension has been allowed for those students who had a valid sports physical during the 2019-2020 school year (completed after April 15th, 2019). Those students will be allowed to try out for any sport in the 2020-2021 athletic season with the completion, by students and parents, of the MHSAA Sports Health Questionnaire. The questionnaire can be found here:
STUDENTS WITHOUT A 2019-2020 PHYSICAL FORM: Students who do not have a physical on file from the 2019-2020 school year will be required to provide a completed MHSAA Physical Form dated after April 15th, 2020 before trying out for any sport. The physical form can be found here:

We will have practice on every school day of which there is not a meet (see opposite side for the meet schedule)
MOST practices will occur at East Middle School near the cross country course (near the football field).
Please join the remind app, this is where all communication about practice changes and cancelations will occur.

Practice will begin at 3:15 and conclude at 4:30.
Students must wear a mask and practice social distancing when arriving to AND leaving from practice.

Athletes do not need to wear a mask to run (but may if they choose to)
You must have your own labeled water bottle as to avoid sharing.
We will likely cancel practices for poor weather, so check your Remind App for the most up to date news!
7TH & 8TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL
8th Grade: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Parent Meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. on the bleachers.

FOOTBALLPractice times:8th grade football: 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.7th grade football: 4:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.
- Wear a white T-shirt with name on back of shirt
- Bring your own water bottle with your name on it.
- Bring a face mask, to be worn at all times.
- Mandatory health check screens will be in place prior to entering field.
- Practice social distance guidelines during pre and post practice.

7th & 8th grade cheer practice will begin on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 3:45pm. Cheerleaders will meet in the East MS Courtyard (Cafeteria Doors – West lot) dressed and ready for practice.
