I have been working in education for nearly 25 years. I started my teaching career working with special education students at the Middle School level and then served as an Elementary School Counselor. For the past 15 years, I have been an Assistant Principal, the Perry Center Director and most recently the Principal at Cook Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree and a Master of Arts in Counseling degree both from Central Michigan University as well as an Education Specialist in School Administration Degree from Oakland University. I absolutely love working with children! I learn from them every day and love the diversity of the job. When I’m not at school I enjoy running, hunting and being outdoors along with spending time with my husband, Ian, and our two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Tess, and Ellie.
