Welcome!  I am very happy to be a part of Grand Blanc Community Schools as the FIT (Flexible Interactions Team) special education classroom teacher at East Middle School.  While I have been an educator my entire adult life, the past several years my primary focus has been teaching students on the autism spectrum. I received my undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University in Secondary Education with a major in English and American Language and Literature and a minor in Psychology.  I received my Master's of Education in Special Education degree from Oakland University with an endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 3 children. 

I am here to work with you and your child as a team to ensure the most successful school year possible!
