I began teaching at Grand Blanc East Middle School in 2006.   I have a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences (home ec) and a minor in English from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!).  I also have a master’s degree from the University of Michigan –Flint in Public Administration.

I am married and have four wonderful children.  We have two dogs, Charlotte and Juba, and Belle is our cat.
