I am so excited for the opportunity to work with your child this school year! I have been working at West Middle School since 2011. I was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from Frankenmuth High School. I earned my elementary/middle school teaching certification from the University of Michigan-Flint and my special education certification from Saginaw Valley State University. While reading, writing, and math skills are emphasized, I feel that helping students realize their personal strengths and how they can contribute positively in their community is just as important to their academic success.
