Mrs. Kendra Hopewell
Hi Team 6 Students!
I'm Mrs. Hopewell and I'm so excited to begin my 15th year here at West. I have a k-8 certification in English from Baker College of Flint and a master's degree in The Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Before teaching here at West, I did both my student teaching and work as a guest teacher here, too! I am a true Westie through and through!
I live here in Grand Blanc with my husband, Billy, and our three children: Kai & twin girls Bailey and Blakely. We enjoy the outdoors and spending time together at athletic events when we're not at work and school.
This year should bring many new and exciting adventures. My hope for my students is that they leave my class with a deeper love for reading and writing, a better understanding of people and the world around us, and the feeling that we're all a little better for having known each other.
