My name is Lauren Krzyzanowski, or Ms. K. I grew up in Lake Orion, born and raised a Lake Girl. I went to Oakland University, where I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, with a major in Language Arts. I then moved to Las Vegas to begin my teaching career. I taught first grade there for 3 years. I also received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Reading. I moved back home in 2016 and worked for two years at Eton Academy in Birmingham. I got to teach students with learning disabilities. I then moved back into public school here at Reid teaching third grade. This will be my second year as a Reid Rocket. I am so excited to be back! In my free time, I love to cuddle Remmy, my golden retriever. I also teach Barre classes in the evenings. Go Rockets!
