Online Registration Information

Documents tab information: If you have already supplied the building with the documents and nothing has changed, you will select “already on file” from the dropdown menu and then you will also have to check the box “I will deliver a hard copy to the school instead of uploading it” in order to save your student’s information.  You do not have to resubmit a hard copy if it's already on file, but it is necessary to check the box for the software to continue.

If you already have a ParentVue account setup...

1.  Login to your already existing ParentVue account on the ParentVue website.

• If you do not remember your login, you can contact the building your student attends, and they will be able to provide you with your username. If you have a current student and do not have your login, you will have to call, either for your login information or for an activation key code (instructions below) from your building.

  • If you have forgotten your password for ParentVue, you can enter your username on the login page and click the link "forgot your password? Click here", and you will be guided through the process of resetting your password.

  • If your student has been enrolled in Speech or Great Start at Perry Center, the student will already have a ParentVue account. Proceed as a returning student. Do not create a new account if you already have an account because it will not allow you to view your current student's information.

  • If you are returning to Grand Blanc after being out of district, you will still need to use your previous account. Please contact the building for an activation code or your username.

 

 

2.  Once you are logged in, click the registration tab in the upper right corner.  Follow the instructions and make sure each section has a green check mark.  If you have multiple students, find each student under the "Student" tab and update each student's information.

 

 

 

 

If your address has changed you will need to supply the building with new proofs of residency (if you do not choose the option to upload the documents).  If you moved from your original school boundaries into another area in Grand Blanc, you will need to apply for In District Schools of Choice to remain in your previous building.

Please do not put an apartment number in the address field if you are an apartment resident.  This information will be confirmed from your paperwork and entering it will disrupt the search in the software.

3.  Once you have reviewed each student's information, the buildings will be notified and accept or deny the student.  You will receive an email confirmation of this.

If you do not have a ParentVue account setup...

1.  You will need to contact your student's building to obtain your activation key code.

2.  Once you have your activation key code, you will need to login to ParentVue and click "Parent" account and then click on "More Options" tab underneath the login and the link "Activate Account".  Follow the instructions to setup your account.

 

3.  Once you are logged in, click the registration tab in the upper right corner.

If you have multiple students, they should appear under the "Students" tab on the left.  Each will need information updated.  All info will have to be complete (green check indicates complete) before you can "Submit".

 

 

 

4.  Once you are in online registration, you will go through each student under the student tab and update the student's information.

Follow the Current/Returning student instructions above to login to your existing ParentVue account to add an additional student in ParentVue.  Do not create a separate/new account as you will not be able to access your other student(s).

If you are enrolling a new student into Grand Blanc and do not have any current students in the district, you will need to create a ParentVue account.

If your student has been enrolled in Speech or Great Start at Perry Center, the student will already have a ParentVue account. Please select Current/Returning students above and follow those instructions to proceed. 

1.  Click on the link for NEW GBCS Online Registration

 

2.  Under the login space, click the "More Options" tab and then click "Create a New Account"

3.  It will step you through the process of setting up an account

4.  Once you have created your account, you will receive an email that will prompt you to create a password for your account.  

5.  Use the username and password you created to login to Online Registration.

6.  Click on the"Online Registration tab in the upper right corner.

7.  Once you have completed the registration process, the school building will be notified that you are done.  Once proof of residency has been provided, the building will accept the student for enrollment into their building.

If you have multiple students to register, use the student tab and click"Add New Student" to add additional students.
