GBEF Mission: To acquire, generate, and distribute supplemental resources that enhance the quality of educational experiences for students and provide innovative teaching opportunities for staff within the Grand Blanc Community School District.
Duck Classic 2026!

The Annual Duck Race at Rust Park is the main fundraiser for GBEF. Ticket sales fund many of the grants we provide to Grand Blanc teachers! Please consider purchasing a ticket (or more than one!) 100% of your donation will go back to GBCS teachers in the form of grants.
Tickets are $5 each, and you do not have to be present to win. Your ticket will correspond to a yellow rubber duck that will race down Thread Creek on August 2, 2026. The event begins at 4 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend! Tickets can be purchased at the GBCS Administration (White) Building behind Perry Center - 11920 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, between 9 am and 4 pm weekdays.
There will be a special drawing for those young children who attend the race!

New Online Grant Application for Grand Blanc Teachers!
The Grand Blanc Educational Foundation is making funds available to the teachers and administrators of the Grand Blanc Community Schools to be used for special projects. These funds are in addition to the funds the Foundation provides for the Teacher Mini-Grant Program.

- Promote student development and involvement by providing financial resources for educational enrichment opportunities.
- Develop a partnership between the community and school system.
- Promote community awareness of school district programs.
- Provide ways for individuals and organizations to share resources with the school system.
- Facilitate cooperative ventures between the Foundation, community groups, and the school district.
- Encourage excellence through creative teaching opportunities for school district employees and recognize their accomplishments.
