2027 Benefits - Open Enrollment

Open enrollment for GBCS Employees is October 1-31, 2026, for the benefit year 2027.

This year, Grand Blanc Community Schools is administering a PASSIVE open enrollment. 

A passive enrollment means your current insurance benefit elections automatically roll over into the next plan year without you taking any action.

  • No action needed:  Your current health, dental and/or vision plans stay the same.
  • Set it and forget it:  Coverage renews by default.
  • Manual Override: You only complete forms if you want to make changes.
  • To make changes for next year, select Make Changes for 2027.

Important Exception: 

  • IRS rules require you to reelect HSA, FSA, and/or DCA contributions annually.
  • You must complete a new contribution form for the 2027 calendar year.
  • If you elect to contribute to an HSA, FSA, and/or DCA, you must make this election EVERY year.
