Tutoring

National Honor Society (NHS) students tutor GBHS students for free after school in the East Campus library. Interested GBHS students should watch and listen to announcements, but generally tutoring is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30 PM. No sign-up is required.

If you are interested in professional tutors, please see below. The cost of that independent tutoring is determined by the individual tutor, and will be your responsibility. Tutors on the list are current or former certified teachers.

Interested in Becoming a Tutor?

To become a tutor for Grand Blanc Community Schools, you must have a current or expired teaching certificate. You must bring the following to the administration building at 11920 S. Saginaw St. (small white building behind the Perry Center.)

  • Completed and printed Tutor Application
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Teaching Certificate
  • Written Letter of Reference
