Mrs. Bonner's Child Psychology and Parenting class welcomed Lew Moquin into the classroom recently. Mr. Moquin retired from Hurley Hospital where he was the Biomedical Engineering Director, but is better known these days in the region as "the car seat safety guy."

He is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor and has worked with U of M Flint and Mott Children's Hospital at Hurley for over 25 years. He also provides car seats for low-income families in Grand Blanc and surrounding areas, for those that need them.

He trains teachers, healthcare professionals, social workers, and other professionals who are willing to get certification in car seat safety.
