AHA Brings "No Vaping" Program to East Middle School
On Tuesday, January 28 Grand Blanc East Middle School hosted NO VAPING assemblies with the American Heart Association. The American Heart Challenge Program is a 2-week challenge where students sign in to the AHA website and take the “No Vaping Challenge”. Students will have the opportunity to send their challenges to their family members and friends to join them.
They also have the opportunity to collect donations for the American Heart Association along the way if they choose.
Future morning announcements at EMS will feature related segments created by ETV students and PSA announcements presented by EMS staff.
The program will include:
Lesson Plans and information provided for teachers
Posters Provided and hung throughout the school.
February 15th as a RED OUT day to bring awareness to heart disease, stroke and the dangers of vaping.
Student Council members will be selling Red “Get Fired Up” shirts for a $10 donation to the AHA, socks ($10) and wristbands ($5) during lunchtimes to support AHA efforts against heart disease, stroke, and big vape companies.
