Congratulations to Alessa M. LoRee of Grand Blanc West Middle School who is the 1st place 🥇 winner of an MLK Essay Contest!
She will read her essay, "A Forgotten Dream", at the 42nd annual MLK Virtual Event themed "We Cannot Walk Alone" on January 14!
Grand Blanc West Middle School can now boast back-to-back winners in this 6th-12th grade essay contest and winners in 4 out of the last 7 years! Congratulations to Mrs. Kennedy-Jacob and Mrs. Hopewell for this achievement, as well!
